How to Clean Dog Toys

Plush or Cloth Toys

After you’ve selected a great all-natural or specifically pet-safe detergent, add these toys to the washing machine to make them good as new. I’d recommend a hot water cycle with high heat drying to kill any germs or bacteria still present before presenting them back to a pet.

Tennis Balls

Tennis balls and other toys made of the same felt-like material can be tossed in the washing machine with pet-safe detergent as well. As a special bonus, putting them in the dryer with sheets and towels can fluff up your goods, too!
